Heading to the Gold Coast soon? In between lockdowns, my friend and I decided to go on a short girls trip to the Gold Coast and you guys seemed to love the recommendations I posted on TikTok (video below)!
A few people asked for my itinerary so here it is, my full 2 day itinerary for the Gold Coast.
Day 1:
- Commute to Burleigh Heads
- Lunch: The Tropic, Burleigh Heads (the most gorgeous views for lunch, make sure you book ahead)
- Relax and explore around Burleigh Heads, then commute to Surfers Paradise
- Visit the Infinity Attraction for some fun (I’ve been going to the Gold Coast for years and this was my first time coming here – and oh my god it was so intense and fun)
- Head to a nearby beach to watch the sunset
- Commute to Broadbeach
- Dinner: Maggie Choo (make sure you book also)
- For the rest of the night, go enjoy a bar/club you like of your choosing (personally I’m not a fan of the clubs so I just enjoyed a drunken late night kebab snackpack on the beach instead)
Day 2:
- Enjoy breakfast at a local cafe
- Commute to Greenmount Beach
- Relax on the beach at your desire (absolute gorgeous views of the Gold Coast skyline here)
- Have lunch at a restaurant of your choosing
- Commute back to Surfers Paradise
- Enjoy the sunset at the Skypoint Observation Deck
- Dinner: Alfresco Italian Surfers Paradise
- Walk around the shops
- Go on the Slingshot ride to end your trip (the adrenaline rush you get from this is so worth it – do it!)
Accomodation: I stayed at: Mantra On View Surfers Paradise (they had rooftop spas)
Transport: I purchased a Go Card, these can be purchased at a convenience store. You can also plan your journey on this site.
Total spend: Just under $1000 each
